Party Secretary Chen Xiangru held talks with Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia

In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia, met with Chen Xiangru and the delegation. Heng Sour noted that Cambodia's new energy vehicle industry is currently booming, with Chinese-funded new energy vehicle enterprises continuing to increase investment in Cambodia and the shortage of high-caliber technical and skilled talent becoming increasingly prominent. He expressed hope that all parties would accelerate the implementation of new energy vehicle talent development projects and further enhance the level of local vocational education in Cambodia. The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training will provide comprehensive support in policy guidance, resource allocation, and school-enterprise coordination, building a higher-level platform for vocational education cooperation between the two countries.

Chen Xiangru pointed out that government-school-enterprise collaboration is an important pathway for the internationalization of vocational education. With government leadership and institutional implementation, it is possible to align more precisely with enterprise needs, efficiently integrate high-quality resources, and develop a replicable and scalable talent development model. GTVTC will actively share China's vocational education experience and teaching resources with Cambodia and jointly cultivate technical and skilled talent that meets Cambodia's development needs.
