From May 27 to 29, Chen Xiangru, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Guangxi Transport Vocational and Technical College (GTVTC), led a delegation to SISH Institute in Singapore for thematic educational exchanges. Gan Chin Huat, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of SISH Institute, and Choi Tung Fai, President of the China Region, attended the exchange activities.

Chen Xiangru and his delegation conducted field visits to SISH Institute's teaching and training facilities and the training base of Wings Academy, and formally signed a cooperative education agreement with SISH Institute for the Flight Attendant major (Aviation Management Direction). The two sides held thorough consultations and reached an agreement on key matters such as educational and teaching arrangements, the establishment of a joint management committee, the protection of faculty and student rights and interests, and financial cost accounting. Chen Xiangru noted that Singapore's vocational education is highly internationalized and of strong quality, and that its experience in industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaborative education is worth learning from. He expressed hope that the signing would serve as an opportunity to strengthen mutual learning in educational philosophies, teaching methods, and management models, and to jointly explore innovative paths for the internationalized development of vocational education.

Chen Xiangru and the delegation also visited Singapore Changi Airport to gain an in-depth understanding of international aviation training conditions and employment resources. They discussed the joint development of an integrated internship and employment platform that meets international standards and aligns with industry needs, providing solid support for students in the cooperative education program to enter the global aviation workforce.

This cooperation is an important initiative by GTVTC to continue advancing two-way empowerment through "bringing in" and "going global." At present, the development of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 is accelerating, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor continues to deepen, and the regional aviation transport industry is flourishing, creating an increasingly urgent demand for versatile aviation talent with an international outlook, cross-cultural communication skills, and professional service competence. The introduction of high-quality aviation education resources from Singapore will comprehensively enhance the internationalization of GTVTC's Flight Attendant major and provide strong talent support for China-ASEAN transport development and aviation industry prosperity.

In the next stage, GTVTC will accelerate the application and approval process for the program. Drawing fully on the successful experience of its China-Canada and China-UK cooperative education programs, GTVTC will improve the program operation support mechanism, coordinate all preparatory work, and promote the high-quality operation of its Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.
